FAQ about the Childbirth and Postpartum Preparation Course
Is this course only for those who want a vaginal delivery?
No. This course does not impose a type of delivery.
It covers the physiology, actual indications, benefits, and risks of each option so that you can make an informed decision, whether it be vaginal delivery, induction, or cesarean section when clinically indicated.
At what stage of pregnancy should I take the course?
Ideally, from 24–28 weeks. However, it can be done later, as long as there is time to integrate the information and practice some strategies.
Does this course replace pregnancy monitoring appointments?
No. The course complements clinical monitoring.
Here we delve deeper into physiology, decisions, self-care, and practical strategies that often don’t fit into the time available during consultations.
Is the course very theoretical or practical?
It is balanced. There is a clear scientific basis, but it is always applied to real life. We work on movements, positions, breathing, reading the body, baby signals, and practical strategies for childbirth and postpartum.
Should my partner or whoever will be with me during labor and delivery participate?
Yes, and it makes a difference. The course covers the actual role of the companion during labor, in caring for the baby, and in providing emotional support to the woman. Speaking the same “language” will be essential for her to feel understood and supported.
Should I discuss breastfeeding even if I don't know yet whether I want to breastfeed?
Yes. The information is presented without pressure. We talk about physiology, realistic expectations, common difficulties, and warning signs, so you can make an informed decision, not one based on guilt or fear.
Do they address sleep, colic, and crying in babies?
Is this course suitable for those who have already given birth?
Does the course create dependency among professionals?
No. The goal is exactly the opposite: to restore autonomy, critical thinking, and confidence to recognize normality, warning signs, and make informed decisions.
Will I leave the course knowing “everything”?
You will learn the essentials and, more importantly, how to think, observe, and decide. We believe that information without integration protects no one.
What is included in the offer?
You will have access to a WhatsApp group for 6 weeks, with ongoing support and sharing of complementary materials. Consultation on birth plan and newborn screening test.
